The ‘Others’ vertical at Aarohi brings together two transformative programmes—the Hari Krishna Trivedi (HKT) Memorial Project and the Youth Wing—to drive deeper, long-term change across mountain communities. These initiatives complement our sectoral work by addressing gaps that require sustained attention, multi-dimensional support, and community participation.
The HKT Memorial Project demonstrates how an integrated approach to health, education, livelihoods, and natural resource management can uplift entire villages over time. Through consistent engagement, capacity building, and locally driven solutions, it serves as a model of holistic rural development.
Alongside this, the Youth Wing channels the energy, creativity, and potential of young people. Through sports, skill-building, leadership training, and civic engagement, the programme nurtures confident, responsible youth prepared to lead change in their communities.
Together, these initiatives go beyond immediate interventions to create a strong foundation for long-term resilience, empowerment, and sustainable development across the Himalayas.
