In the remote hills of Kumaon, access to quality education is often limited by distance, under-resourced schools, and a shortage of trained teachers. Our Education Program bridges this gap through a two-pronged approach: Aarohi Bal Sansar (ABS), our innovative rural school, and a dynamic Outreach Program that strengthens government schools in the region.
At Aarohi Bal Sansar, learning goes beyond textbooks. Rooted in a child-centric philosophy, the school emphasizes experiential and project-based learning, nurturing creativity, curiosity, and confidence in every child. Here, education becomes a journey of exploration, building essential life skills, and empowering children to dream beyond the boundaries of their villages.
Through our Outreach initiatives, we extend this impact to surrounding government schools by training and placing Shiksha Sahayaks (youth educators), improving classroom environments, and engaging communities in their children’s education. By building local teaching capacity, we foster sustainable, community-led educational transformation that lasts far beyond our direct involvement.
Together, these efforts make education not just a means to literacy but a pathway to opportunity, leadership, and lasting change in the Kumaon region.
